I found myself loading out everyone with the same body, legs, and arms (for the most part.) Although I have my gripes about the game, it still managed to be fun and I hope to see more improvement in the remake of Front Mission 2. What also let me down is that there appeared to be some units that were useless to me and I couldn’t utilize everyone, however, the individuality of the Wanzers was slim. I played on the default difficulty and early on the game was difficult, but eventually my Wanzers would absolutely melt their enemies. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) share a land border is a hotbed of conflict. Furthermore, the remake didn’t do anything revolutionary for the gameplay but it managed to stay fun, until the end. In the year 2090, the worlds conflicts are fought using giant war machines called Wanzers. Assume the role of valiant pilots navigating treacherous battlefields, where the true realities of war come alive with every strategic maneuver. I wish the game had some more interaction options between the Canyon Crows and maybe even some pairing up for special abilities in battle. FRONT MISSION 1st: Remake is an immersive, tactical turn-based RPG, placing you in command of the awe-inspiring Wanzers powerful military machines. For what the game was, I enjoyed myself and the many characters that game has to offer. Now I’ve acquired some time and dove into the remake, treating it as my introduction into the series. I briefly played the DS version on an emulator a few months ago, but as life goes, I lost the time to play it. I have just finished playing Front Mission 1st Review.
